These Partner Portal Terms & Conditions outline how the Clip Collective Partner Portal works for participating wedding vendors, creatives, planners, coordinators, and other approved partners.
By joining the Clip Collective Partner Portal, you agree to the terms below.
1. Partner Program Overview
Clip Collective allows approved partners to share a unique partner code with couples.
When a couple books Clip Collective using a valid partner code, the couple may receive a discount on their booking, and the partner may be eligible to receive a partner payout.
Participation in the Partner Portal is optional and does not create an employment, agency, franchise, joint venture, or legal partnership relationship between the partner and Clip Collective.
2. Partner Codes
Each approved partner may receive a unique partner code created by Clip Collective.
Partner codes may be shared with current clients, prospective clients, or other couples who may be interested in booking Clip Collective.
Partner codes may not be sold, misrepresented, used fraudulently, or shared in a way that is misleading, spammy, or inconsistent with Clip Collective's brand.
Clip Collective reserves the right to modify, pause, or deactivate any partner code at any time if misuse, fraud, abuse, or brand misrepresentation is suspected.
3. Couple Discount
Couples who book Clip Collective using a valid partner code may receive $75 off their Clip Collective booking.
Discounts are subject to availability and may not be combined with other promotions unless approved by Clip Collective.
Clip Collective may update, modify, or discontinue discount offers at any time.
4. Partner Payouts
Partners are eligible to receive a $75 partner payout for each confirmed booking made through their unique partner code.
As a thank you for joining, partners may also be eligible for a first-month bonus, where the partner payout increases to $100 per confirmed booking during the partner's first month in the program.
Partner payouts are calculated based on confirmed bookings associated with the partner's unique code.
5. No Earnings Guarantee
Participation in the Clip Collective Partner Portal does not guarantee any specific level of income, bookings, or payouts.
Payout amounts described in these terms reflect the current program structure and may change at any time. Past payout activity is not a guarantee of future earnings.
Clip Collective makes no representations that any partner will generate referrals, receive bookings, or earn any amount through participation in the program.
6. Confirmed Bookings
A booking is considered confirmed when the couple has completed checkout and payment has been successfully received by Clip Collective.
Clip Collective reserves the right to withhold or adjust partner payouts for bookings that are refunded, canceled, disputed, charged back, fraudulent, duplicate, or otherwise invalid.
If a payout has already been sent for a booking that is later refunded, disputed, or determined to be invalid, Clip Collective may deduct that amount from a future payout.
7. Payout Timing and Method
Partner payouts are sent via Venmo on the 1st of each month.
Bookings confirmed during a calendar month are generally paid out on the 1st of the following month.
For example, eligible bookings confirmed in May would typically be paid on June 1.
Partners are responsible for providing accurate Venmo information. Clip Collective is not responsible for delayed or failed payouts caused by incorrect or outdated payment information provided by the partner.
8. Taxes
Partners are responsible for any taxes, reporting, or obligations related to partner payouts they receive.
Clip Collective may request additional tax information if required by law or if payout volume reaches a level requiring reporting.
9. Vendor Dashboard
Approved partners may receive access to a vendor dashboard where they can view bookings associated with their partner code and estimated partner payout activity.
Dashboard information is provided for convenience and may be subject to review, adjustment, or verification by Clip Collective.
If there is a discrepancy between dashboard activity and Clip Collective's payment records, Clip Collective's internal booking and payment records will control.
10. Partner Responsibilities
Partners agree to represent Clip Collective honestly and accurately.
Partners should not make guarantees about Clip Collective services, pricing, delivery timelines, discounts, or product features beyond what Clip Collective has provided or publicly stated.
Partners should not present themselves as employees, owners, agents, or official representatives of Clip Collective unless specifically authorized in writing.
Partners are responsible for communicating with their own clients in a way that is professional, lawful, and respectful.
11. Marketing and Brand Use
Partners may mention Clip Collective and share their partner code with couples.
Partners may not use Clip Collective's name, logo, brand assets, screenshots, or marketing materials in a misleading, altered, or inappropriate way.
Clip Collective may provide approved language, graphics, or materials for partners to use. Partners should use those materials as provided unless otherwise approved.
Disclosure requirement: When recommending Clip Collective or sharing a partner code in any public or client-facing context — including social media, emails, or in-person referrals — partners are responsible for clearly disclosing that they may receive a financial benefit. A simple, upfront statement such as "I may receive a referral payment if you book through my code" satisfies this requirement. This disclosure is required under FTC guidelines and is the partner's sole responsibility.
12. Platform Contributions and Visibility
If a partner contributes content to a couple's Clip Collective feed, the partner's business name may be visible to guests or other users within that event experience.
Partners are responsible for ensuring any content they upload or contribute is appropriate, accurate, and does not violate any third-party rights.
Clip Collective reserves the right to remove content that is inappropriate, infringing, misleading, or inconsistent with the platform experience.
13. Program Changes
Clip Collective may update, modify, pause, or end the Partner Portal, discount structure, payout amounts, bonus offers, dashboard access, or these terms at any time.
If material changes are made, Clip Collective will make reasonable efforts to notify active partners.
Continued participation in the Partner Portal after updates means the partner accepts the updated terms.
14. Termination
Partners may stop participating in the Partner Portal at any time.
Clip Collective may remove a partner from the Partner Portal at any time for misuse, fraud, brand misrepresentation, inappropriate conduct, violation of these terms, or any other reason determined by Clip Collective.
Any eligible unpaid partner payouts earned before termination may still be paid, unless the payout is connected to fraud, misuse, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, or other invalid activity.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clip Collective's total liability to any partner for any claim arising out of or related to the Partner Portal or these terms — including missed payouts, dashboard errors, or program changes — shall not exceed the total amount paid to that partner in the 90 days preceding the claim.
Clip Collective is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost referral opportunities, even if Clip Collective has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
16. Indemnification
Partners agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clip Collective and its owners, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or related to the partner's participation in the program, including any misrepresentation of Clip Collective's services, failure to make required disclosures, or violation of these terms.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms or the Partner Portal shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Shelby County, Tennessee, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
18. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue in full force and effect.
